Confession time! Guilty Lauren Branning and Zack Hudson prepare to reveal betrayal to Whitney Dean in EastEnders

A significant choice has to be made by Zack and Lauren (Photo: BBC/Jack Barnes/Kieron McCarron).

Though they have been up to no good in EastEnders, is it time for Lauren Branning and Zack Hudson (Jacqueline Jossa and James Farrar) to tell Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) the truth?

Lauren and Zack went to Peggy’s after a heated argument with Whitney in the previous scenes, during which it was disclosed that Whitney had paid to bring in Britney Wainwright (Lola Campbell). There, they struck up a conversation.

After a time, they had another passionate kiss in a back alley while Whitney attempted to put their falling out behind them behind her at home.

Zack had already deceived Whitney with her closest friend once before; a few weeks before, he approached Lauren, but she rebuffed him.

Lauren and Zack now have a greater betrayal to conceal after keeping it a secret, but will they be able to?

The two meet in Walford East in the newly released spoiler photos, and it’s obvious that they are both feeling guilty about what they did.

Will they choose to maintain their secret or will they choose to tell Whitney all that they have done?

Meanwhile, when Bianca Jackson (Patsy Palmer) shows up in Albert Square and finds out that Zack has vanished, it’s not only Whitney that they need to be concerned about.

Zack makes an effort to avoid her questions, but he eventually gives up since it becomes too much for him.

Is Zack finding it too difficult to handle this betrayal? Is this what pushes Whitney out of Walford, because she is scheduled to go in the next weeks?
