Star of Coronation Street Alan Halsall mocked his single status, pointing out that he hasn’t had much success since divorcing former co-star Tisha Merry in February.

After divorcing co-star Tisha Merry, Alan Halsall of Coronation Street has made light of his single status.

The 30-year-old Tisha from 2019 was romantically involved with the 41-year-old soap actor, who has portrayed Tyrone Dobbs on Corrie since 1998. However, they called it quits early this year. Now, Alan, who was wed to Lucy-Jo Hudson, a former Coronation Street actress, from 2009 until 2018, made light of his current love state on social media on Monday.

Alan shared on Instagram Stories that his dog, who he had gotten into a romantic mood with, had grabbed onto his leg for some spontaneous love. Alan stood looking puzzled as a photographer snapped a picture from above.

Alan sent the picture to his admirers along with a humorous comment that read, “Apparently we’re not best friends.” The most activity in a long time, ffs fml. In February, it was discovered that Alan and Tisha, who portrayed Steph Britton on Coronation Street from 2013 to 2018, had broken up.

“Alan and Tisha had a lot of love for each other and had really similar interests, enjoying socialising and going on holiday together,” a source said to The Sun at the time. However, they began to drift apart and were overwhelmed by the responsibility to keep their love going. When they found they couldn’t agree on anything, they decided to part ways. About a month ago, Tisha left Alan’s house and is now devoting herself to her career.”

Alan has been spending time with his 10-year-old daughter Sienna over the weekend in addition to attempting to dodge his dog’s adoration. Alan and his ex-wife had a kid together.

Alan posted a picture of himself and his daughter relaxing on a jet ski on an open body of water on the main grid of his Instagram account. “Creating memories by Chasing Waves & living the dream with my best friend,” was how he captioned the photo of the father and daughter. He embellished the statement with two emojis: a heart and a glitter.

Fans and followers were touched by the photo, as they could see the couple spending precious time together. “Enjoy making even more lovely memories, you are a wonderful dad,” said an admiring admirer. “I love this quality time together,” said another.

Since their 2018 divorce, Alan’s relationship with his ex-wife has garnered media attention, and it is evident that the two do not get along. When Lucy-Jo’s boyfriend posted a post about Sienna, Alan lost it. He added: “Our Sienna is delighted and is already making the best big sister, just like I knew she would!” Alan retaliated by saying, “You can call her your own and keep the lying, cheating one!” however, not my daughter.” The celebrity promptly removed his tirade, but admirers didn’t miss the point.

After the event, Alan addressed it and said, “With a mixed family, there will always be ups and downs. All that counts is that Sienna finishes first in everything.”
