Coronation Street star reveals ‘low moment’ after Hollyoaks exit

Jacob Roberts, a star of Coronation Street, disclosed that he spent more time installing TV aerials on rooftops than he did on televisions.

The 34-year-old Kit Green actor talked about how hard it was for him to get employment following his Hollyoaks stint before getting a role on the cobbles.

It was a depressing time, he said.

He said, “Eight months ago, I was on TV, and now I was on top of a roof, in the freezing cold, fiddling with a TV aerial.”

It was a harsh reality check to be outside, climbing a ladder in the bitter cold during winter, when I should have been inside working lines. I was terrified that someone would see me and ask, “Weren’t you on Hollyoaks?” I wasn’t trying to be ostentatious, but I didn’t want the attention since I was there to work.

Earlier this year, Jane Hazlegrove’s son Bernie, dubbed the copper, was placed for adoption. Kit is the brother of Paul (Peter Ash) and Gemma (Dolly-Rose Campbell), but because of his resentment towards Bernie for placing him in care, he has finally found it difficult to bond with his siblings.

Apart from kinship, Kit has made a name for himself as a bit of a gossip. at the past, he was spotted at the bar with Craig (Colson Smith), supplying him with copious amounts of alcohol till he finally made a suggestion about breaking the law in the past.

Kit and Craig were in the bar earlier this month, looking for information on Beth’s (Lisa George) illegal behaviour, which includes selling fake t-shirts.

At the conclusion of the show, Kit was seen chatting with Beth’s sidekick Sid in the ginnel. Kit informed Sid that if he wants a cut of the money they make, he needed to welcome Beth back to the team and push Beth off.

Kit then forewarned Sid, threatening to report him to the authorities if he failed to comply.

Although Kit Green’s identity as a bent copper was seemingly revealed in these moments, some ITV soap opera viewers believe he is still concealing something else.
