Ellie Leach, a former cast member of Coronation Street, said she is “anxious” to be going back to work after a well-earned vacation.

The actress is now performing in the stage production of Cluedo 2 – The Next Chapter. She is well known for her role as ITV soap opera Faye Windass.

The 23-year-old, who is soon scheduled to make a comeback to the stage, addressed some of her worries about going back to work in a lengthy Instagram Stories photo.

Ellie shared a black-and-white picture of several candles and said she was taking pleasure in her “Sunday reset.”

“I’m going back to work tomorrow after taking a six-week break,” she wrote. I’m happy to be returning to work after the most wonderful summer ever, but I’m also feeling worried, which is perfectly acceptable and natural.

“Taking time off work is unsettling; I’m afraid I won’t remember what to do when I return. Hopefully, though, the excitement will return and the anxiety will gradually fade once I’m back in rehearsals.”

Ellie’s first acting role since leaving Coronation Street and winning Strictly will be this one. For twelve years, she played the role of Faye Windass, who left Weatherfield to start a new life with her partner and their daughter Miley.

Ellie’s career has flourished since leaving Coronation Street, where she portrayed Faye Windass for 12 years. She and partner Vito Coppola won the 21st season of Strictly Come Dancing.

Ellie acknowledged in a previous Drama Queens episode that she will always miss Corrie, the show she began working on at the age of 11.

Upon being reunited with her co-stars, Ellie was questioned if she missed her former workplace. Lucy Fallon, who portrays Bethany Platt, responded, “I think I’ll always miss it because I grew up there.” However, I survived, so I could always return.
