EastEnders fans ‘work out’ that missing character has already returned

Fans of EastEnders are curious as to whether Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) has returned to Walford, as Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) and Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) are becoming increasingly worried about her whereabouts.

A few weeks prior, after witnessing Eve and Suki share a kiss, Nish (Navin Chowdhry) instructed Ravi (Aaron Thiara) to murder Eve and dispose of her body.

Eve was taken to the woods by Ravi, who never killed her. Rather, believing that her presence would endanger Stacey and Suki’s lives, Ravi ordered her to leave and never come back.

As of right moment, we have no idea where Eve is. Suki and Stacey worry that something has happened to Eve, but they have no method of getting in touch with her since Ravi broke Eve’s phone.

Although Eve is aware of Nish’s anger management skills, viewers of EastEnders know that Nish is a cunning character who would find a cunning means to communicate with Suki or Stacey.

In the BBC One soap opera shown yesterday night, December 14, Stacey came home to discover her front door on the latch.

The event occurred when Theo (William Ellis), the man who had been pursuing and harassing Stacey for months, sent her a Christmas card.

Naturally frightened, Stacey wondered if Theo was inside. Jack (Scott Maslen), who came as she was shouting into the home, was curious as to what was going on.

Jack was informed by Stacey that her family was not in for the evening. Jack went inside but saw no one, so he tried to comfort Stacey by suggesting that Jean (Gillian Wright) might not have closed the door all the way.

Though this is conceivable, some are beginning to question whether Eve might have ended up in the Slater home instead.

With evident hope for an early reunion between Eve and Suki, this Twitter/X user wrote: “EVE LEFT THE DOOR ON THE LATCH!” Save for those who were in a hurry and didn’t want to be seen, who else would leave the door open? She is returning home.

Another person agreed, saying, “Ooh, now that’s an interesting idea:-).”

Another person who pondered the theory wrote: “Has Eve returned to the Slaters? Hastily leaving, leaving the door on its latch.

While we hope to see Eve again soon, is returning home too risky given that nasty Nish now resides in Albert Square?
