When contractors walk into the café next month to start the restoration work, there will be a great deal of anxiety in EastEnders. The Six will be in a complete state of panic as they try to figure out what to do.

As viewers will know, Keanu Taylor’s (Danny Walters) body has been buried at the cafe since he passed away during the holiday season.

After Keanu tried to choke her to death, the future groom was slain by Linda Carter (Kellie Bright), who was just attempting to save her best friend Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean).

Although Sharon, Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner), Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth), Denise Fox (Diane Parish), and Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) helped her cover up the crime, Linda found it difficult to accept what she had done.

After quickly moving Keanu’s body to the burned-out café and burying him beneath the debris, the matriarchs—known to viewers as The Six—secured the structure with a padlock.

But Rocky Cotton (Brian Conley) has proven to be a liability since on the night in issue, he inebriatedly saw Sharon, Denise, and Stacey enter the café, forcing Kathy to face a difficult choice about how to convince her ex to quit interfering.

But when the builders show up to the diner, The Six will have larger fish to fry! Suki does her hardest to hold them up as Linda has a public tantrum, losing it because she thinks their secret is going to be revealed.

Stacey encourages Linda, telling her that their shared futures depend on her maintaining her composure and abstaining from alcohol. Meanwhile, Suki manages to get the builders to put down their equipment and then helps her five buddies devise a strategy.

There is no doubt about that. They have to move the body!

Suki receives a call that might completely alter their conversation as they work out how they do it. But what precisely is involved in this phone call? That being said, you will have to wait to find out the answer to that question.

In later scenes, Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) introduces Denise to Penny (Kitty Castledine), momentarily delaying her meeting with the other ladies to discuss strategy.

While Kathy leaves to pick up Linda, she continues to get wasted. Denise gives the landlady a hard time, so Kathy has to step in to prevent a fight from breaking out.

Following their talk, The Six decide to reconvene at Try Cafe later that evening, and a plan is put into action.

That evening, eager to carry out their plan, they each apologise to their loved ones and walk to the cafe.

After that, Denise confides in her other ladies, who don’t exactly share her anxieties. But what exactly has Denise frightened? And may it, whatever it is, return to haunt her?
