Emmerdale video sees April Windsor open up after devastating death tragedy

After Heath Hope’s (Sebastian Dowling) passing, April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) is questioned by a police officer in tonight’s (Wednesday, January 3) Emmerdale episode.

After being engaged in an automobile accident with Cathy Hope (Gabrielle Dowling) and Angelica King (Rebecca Bakes), Heath passed away at the beginning of this week.

Heath was still imprisoned inside the vehicle when Wendy Posner (Susan Cookson) and Bob Hope (Tony Audenshaw) discovered the group after they collided with a wall. Cathy and Angelica had managed to escape.

Bob was left to give the heartbreaking news that his kid had passed away to people like Brenda Walker (Lesley Dunlop), Jimmy King (Nick Miles), and Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler). Sadly, the adolescent could not be rescued.

An inquiry is in progress because of the circumstances surrounding Heath’s death and the fact that Cathy was driving the automobile while underage and somewhat drunk.

In this brand-new video, we watch Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) standing by April while PC Swirling questions her.

Viewers will recall that April was hanging out with Cathy, Heath, and Angelica on New Year’s Eve prior to their decision to take a joyride into town.

April made the decision to stay in the town once Cathy had the keys to Wendy’s vehicle, even though she knew they would eventually be discovered and that she would face consequences.

In the video, April updates Swirling on the activities of the friend group prior to their plans changing.

An emotional April continues by claiming that she knew she would get into trouble and that she didn’t get into the car because Cathy was undoubtedly driving when they departed.

April, visibly distraught, sobs and thinks she should have done more in that instant, but Marlon reassures his daughter that she has no responsibility whatsoever for the collision, much less Heath’s passing.

April’s family and friends will be her biggest source of support, but will she be able to go through the following several weeks as the authorities try to figure out what happened during the crash?
