In future Emmerdale scenes, Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) is going to shock Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) with his harsh attitude, which will cause him to confess.
Paddy is going to have Mandy accompany him to the vets party this evening. Naturally, Mandy, being Mandy Dingle, dresses to the nines in a lavish costume reminiscent of Liz Hurley.
Sadly, not everyone likes her ensemble, and before long, managing director Jules is snidely remarking on it.
As he taunts her, Mandy’s fury boils, and her attitude worsens as Paddy keeps caving in to him rather than confronting him about his actions.
Mandy reaches her breaking point when Paddy fails to identify her as his girlfriend, and he understands he has to make amends.
Soon after, the veterinarian confides in Mandy about his fears related to Jules. Despite her pain, she gains some understanding of his actions and decides to stick by him.
Fortunately, Jules quickly shifts his focus away from Mandy. However, she doesn’t back down and quickly consoles her when she witnesses him criticising his PA, Ella (Paula Lane).
When Jules focuses his attention back on the stylist, he is unstoppable against Mandy and Ella thanks to his newly discovered ally at the gathering.
Ella gives Mandy another drink-related remark on his outfit.
To her astonishment, Mandy is shocked when Paddy rushes over and accuses her of not having seen the whole pandemonium.
