After struggling for a few weeks, Asha Alahan and Nina Lucas (Tanisha Gorey and Mollie Gallagher) on Coronation Street ultimately decide to end things in the next scenes.
Since Asha began her paramedic training and was placed with mentor Isla, with whom she immediately connected, things between the couple have been tight.
Even though Asha didn’t have romantic emotions for Isla, Nina couldn’t help but feel envious.
Asha decided to switch mentors shortly after Isla revealed that she had a crush on her, which made matters worse.
But for Asha and Nina’s relationship, it was too little, too late—they had obviously lost the trust that they had shared.
In later moments, after a fight between them, Nina turns to Aadi Alahan (Adam Hussain) for solace, and ultimately, the two kiss. Asha gets furious and throws the bracelet Aadi got her for her birthday at her comatose brother after learning about it.
After Aadi is admitted to the hospital, Jimmy Harkishin’s character, Dev Alahan, insists that Aadi return home to live with him rather than return to his apartment.
During the talk, Asha discloses that Nina has moved out and that they have split up. Considering the kiss they had just had, Aadi is left feeling awful.
Aadi is appreciative when Asha offers to help him pack up his apartment, but his attitude quickly shifts when he discovers her bracelet on the ground.
All Asha can do is tell him that she woke up when he was asleep, but what would Aadi think of that?
