Fans had a second take when they saw Coronation Street actor Alan Halsall standing next to darts pro Luke Littler.

After the 41-year-old actor from Tyrone Dobbs posted a photo of himself with the 16-year-old athlete, many assumed Luke was Alan’s father.

The photo was captioned “Dad & lad day out” by Alan.

In response to the statement, which had fans in fits of laughter, @tammyjbooker said, “Wow, your Dad looks as young as you.” You have to have the Benjamin button gene in your family. Fantastic image

“Okay, I’m confused. Who’s the dad and who’s the son?” commented @jagbcac.

In jest, @hayleyjackson1971 said, “Really, who’s the boy and who’s the father?”

Tyrone, played by Alan, will shortly get back together with his wife Fiz (Jennie McAlpine).

Actor Alan and actress Claire Sweeney (Cassie Plummer) posted a family photo from the movie on Instagram, in which Jennie was included.

“Jen’s back,” was the star’s caption on the photo. The core of the house No. 9 @ Coronation Street is family.

Claire said, “So good to meet my daughter-in-law today @alanhalsall lovely Jennie McAlpine [heart emoji] Fiz,” using the same photo.

We’ve seen Fiz a few times since her departure since Tyrone (Alan Halsall) has spoken with her via video chat. He has been adjusting to the fact that his mother Cassie Plummer (Claire Sweeney) is a completely different lady in his life in the meantime.

Cassie, a former heroin addict, has been a turbulent addition to the Dobbs family as she attempts to adjust to life on the streets. She didn’t raise Tyrone, thus she never had motherhood experience, hence her grandparenting abilities are poor.
