Sally Dynevor and Michael Le Vell have committed to a another year of work on the ITV soap opera.

Two of the most adored characters on Corrie are Sally and Mike. They were delighted to sign since their bosses were anxious to retain them. Regarding the two’s new contracts, a source informed The Sun that they both adore the programme.

As three performers are about to depart the programme, Bill Roache, star of Ken Barlow, has apparently signed on for another year. Peter Ash, who portrays Paul Foreman, is anticipated to depict the terrible death of his character this year after Paul’s MND diagnosis. Meanwhile, Alex Bain, who plays Simon Barlow, and Lisa George, who plays Beth Tinker, are said to be quitting the show.

As previously reported by sources, Lisa George has chosen to leave her position as Beth. “Lisa has a lengthy history on Corrie and has portrayed some fantastic characters. She has gained a devoted following because to her hilarious sequences, but her tragic storylines, such as Sinead’s passing, have left viewers in tears. Regarding Lisa’s reported exit from the soap opera, the source said, “She thinks that now is the appropriate moment to move on and take on new challenges, even though she loves Corrie with all of her heart.

According to reports, Alex Bain is also leaving the programme, although he will return for a very dramatic summer plotline after an incredible 15 years. “Alex is sad to be leaving Coronation Street because it really is like a family — but he realises that the time is right to move on,” a source said of the 2008 arrival to the soap opera. He is really enthusiastic about the future and upcoming chances.”

As he celebrated his last Christmas with his family in 2023, Peter Ash will soon be leaving his career as Paul Foreman; it is anticipated to broadcast this year. Paul, who was diagnosed with motor neurone disease (MND), remarked to The Mirror at the time of his intended departure: “We’ve got this really big storyline for you, which will be a great thing to do, but it will mean an eventual exit.” Naturally, my emotions were conflicted. I will regret having to leave the performance. I’ve met some incredible individuals in this career, it’s awesome.”
