Coronation Street spoilers: The truth about Paul Foreman’s suicide plan is exposed and devastation follows

The secret is revealed (Picture: ITV)

This week on Coronation Street, Gemma (Dolly-Rose Campbell) and Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove) are saddened to learn of Paul Foreman’s (Peter Ash) scheme to take his own life.

Paul just requested Abi (Sally Carman) to find some medications for his assisted suicide strategy. Abi supported Paul, but Billy (Daniel Brocklebank) was appalled to hear of his husband’s choice.

Billy made an unsuccessful attempt to dissuade Paul from doing it. Billy eventually swore on the Bible and promised to assist Paul in taking his own life when the time came after hearing him express his desire to have a choice and not feel bound by his body.

Next, Paul finds himself sidetracked after accepting Bernie and Gemma’s invitation to spend the night in the ancient RV.

After they go, Bernie eventually stops in a ditch, takes out a road map, and discovers she’s a little lost.

Billy attempts to phone Paul back in Weatherfield. Though he’s apprehensive about where he’s going, he doesn’t know Paul’s phone is dead.

Bernie pulls up in the midst of a field with her camper and tells her kids she doesn’t know how to go to the campground.

Billy, in a panic, unlocks a kitchen cabinet in the apartment and discovers the Benzo pills are gone. He doesn’t know that Bernie almost discovered them herself earlier in the week.

When Paul’s phone does eventually ring, Gemma answers and hears a distraught Billy pleading with Paul not to take the pills since it’s too soon.

What will Paul say to Bernie and Gemma, judging by their apprehensive expressions?

And what kind of response can they expect?
