Coronation Street star Charlotte Jordan hints at next serial killer story: ‘I said what I saaaaaid’

After Stephen Reid’s death, Coronation Street has only just managed to rid itself of one serial murderer; but, if Daisy Midgeley actress Charlotte Jordan gets her wish, there may soon be another one on the loose.

During an Instagram Q&A session, fans interrogated the actress, who has been playing barmaid Daisy for four years. One fan asked what her fantasy plot for her character would be.

In response, Charlotte said, “Serial killer.” I spoke what I meant to say.

Daisy was not always that lovely, even if she is now a devoted fan favourite, which raises the likelihood of this plot.

Upon her debut, the character displayed a manipulative and spiteful nature, making great efforts to divide Jenny and Johnny Connor (played by Sally Ann Matthews and Richard Hawley).

Additionally, she caused a rift between Ryan (Ryan Prescott) and girlfriend Alya Nazir (Sair Khan), leading to the breakup of the pair.

For a while, Daisy’s potential as an adversary for the ITV soap opera raised eyebrows among fans, but she eventually experienced a change of character.

Since since, the character has gained a large following because of her kind and loving personality as well as the affection fans had for her relationship with Daniel Osborne (Rob Mallard).

Last year, Daisy was the focus of a major plot point when she was being hounded by the villainous Justin (Andrew Still), who was making her life miserable.

Ryan intervened to shield her from Justin’s acid assault attempt on the day of her wedding.

As a result, she started to feel something for Ryan, which finally caused her relationship with Daniel to terminate. In the Instagram Q&A, Charlotte seemed to corroborate this by sharing a photo of tumbleweed in response to a fan’s query on what the hypothetical pair will likely do together in the future.
