Coronation Street spoilers: Simon’s lost without Peter

Simon wakes up the next week, hungover. He quickly discovers that after dumping his drink all over Nick’s papers, he’s made quite the mess.

Simon lies, saying he hasn’t seen his documents, when Nick attempts to locate them. Then he offers to print them out once again on his own.

Nick is happy to get the newly printed documents and asks Leanne to talk to Carla about returning Simon’s job to him.

During their conversation, Leanne confesses to Carla that Simon needs something to do while Peter leaves. Will Carla, however, return Simon’s factory job to him?

Leanne isn’t pleased and suggests that they talk to Carla once more, but Simon doesn’t seem to care.

Against Nick’s wishes, Leanne offers Simon a job at the Bistro because she feels bad for him and wants to help him get back on track.

As soon as Simon begins working at the restaurant, he spirals out of control and considers starting trouble.

He gets the idea from Bobby to have a lock-in at the restaurant. Simon considers doing precisely that when Bobby sows the idea in his mind. Will he, however, lose his next job? And how does all of this prepare him for his impending departure when Alex Bain steps down from the position?
