Coronation Street spoiler video: Horrified teen rocked to the core by loved one’s shocking suicide plan

For Coronation Street’s Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) and his family, the idea of assisted suicide is a touchy matter.

Paul mentioned to Billy (Daniel Brocklebank) a few weeks ago that he would like assistance in taking his own life when the time comes. The adored MND character expressed his desire to stay in complete control of his decisions till the very end and expressed that he does not want to reach a point when he feels like a “hostage inside his own body.”

Paul reopened the discussion concerning the assisted dying plan when Bernie (Jane Hazlegrove) and Gemma (Dolly-Rose Campbell) took a trip outside of Weatherfield and a terrified Billy asked where he had disappeared.

Bernie and Gemma also decided to back Paul after the initial shock, but will Summer (Harriet Bibby) be included in this?

Summer confronts Billy in the latest video for attempting to make decisions for Paul.

She thinks it’s improper, but a tense Billy mentions the assisted dying plan while stating that he is unable to make a decision for his husband.

Billy admits that he wants to “end things on his own terms” when things get too serious for Paul after Summer presses him, sensing something more is going on.

Though shocked, what will Summer say next?

Will she back Paul’s choice?

Daniel Brocklebank said to Metro.co.uk last year, “Even though we know it isn’t real, knowing that Pete’s time to show is now coming to an end, there is a deep sadness in that.”

“I mean, Jane Hazlegrove—who plays Bernie—she’s got no control over her teary eyes at all!”

She starts crying as she sees Pete hobbling into the set. Although Peter is not dying, we are grieving his departure, and our feelings are real.
