Ruby’s “kill them with kindness” ruse is discovered, and Cain tells Ruby to leave the Dingles alone, stating that they cannot be purchased.

Although Lydia makes an effort to allay Ruby’s worries over Cain’s ultimatum, it becomes evident that they weren’t just empty threats when he rushes in and takes Sam’s air fryer off the counter.

As Cain uses a sledge hammer to destroy all three air fryers, Sam, Ruby, and Lydia look on in terror.

Reluctantly, Chas decides to assist Ruby as she works on her strategy to win Cain over.

The Dingles, including a perplexed Caleb, begin to show up for Ruby’s spontaneous get-together.

Cain is furious because he knows he was duped into going.

After a rough beginning, Caleb and Cain seem to be warming up until Ruby, who is inebriated, suddenly starts belting out karaoke.

Ruby struggles to win Caleb’s forgiveness, as the gathering at the Woolpack begins to spiral out of control.

Caleb takes a stand in support of Ruby, letting Cain know whose side he supports.

Anxious Ruby hopes that Caleb is devoted to her even if things with Cain are worse than they ever been.

Nate is shocked to see Caleb hunched over in agony the next day.

Will Nate stand his ground against his adversary in Caleb’s request for assistance, or will he abandon his Uncle to suffer in silence?

Weeknights at 7pm on ITV1 and ITVX, Emmerdale airs.
