EastEnders fans ‘work out’ bombshell return as Linda Carter receives poison pen letter

Linda’s lies are coming back to haunt her

After Linda Carter received a poison pen letter, viewers of Eastenders are certain that a renowned Walford figure has returned tonight.

In the BBC soap opera, Kellie Bright plays the Queen Vic landlady, who has been fighting alcoholism ever since she killed Keanu Taylor over Christmas.

To prevent him from killing her best friend Sharon Watts, she fatally stabbed him. The other members of The Six then covered up the crime.

But, they had to take action as soon as his body was discovered, so they accused Linda’s rapist Dean Wicks of the murder.

This week, it was made abundantly evident that Dean would stop at nothing to escape—including proposing to admit to raping Linda in return for her recanting her testimony linking him to Keanu’s death.

Unexpectedly, Linda consented and proceeded to see Fraser, Dean’s associate, to sign the statement in exchange for Dean confessing.

But as Linda left for the bar during the meeting at Peggy’s, Fraser received a call from a person he nicknamed “hen,” and he told her that he had Linda eating out of the palm of his hand.

Dean’s plot was foiled, however, when Jack Branning showed up with half of Walford’s police force and detained Fraser on suspicion of blackmail.

When Linda learnt that her own son Johnny Carter had orchestrated the arrest in order to prevent her from retracting her testimony, she became enraged.

She started packing up the Vic on her way back home and headed for bed.

However, when cleaning the bar, Linda discovered a clean white envelope propped up by Queen Vic’s sculpture that had her name written on it.

Linda opened it and gasped.

The message said, “I know what you did at Christmas.” “Deceitful!”

However, supporters believe they know who sent it: Shirley Carter, Linda’s mother-in-law and Dean’s mother.

Shirley disappeared when her son Mick went missing at sea, and she was last seen in Walford over two years ago.

“Who do people think sent the letter?” one person wrote. It feels so very Shirley to me.

“Yeah, I thought it might have been Shirley,” said one other person. Even though Linda is family, they haven’t always agreed on everything.
